As of Memorial Day 2022, Natural Springs Resort is the proud host of our very own splash pad! It’s the perfect place to cool off on a hot day, and a great addition to all of the other water sports and amenities here at the campgrounds. If you’re looking for a fun place to play on your next camping trip or day pass access for a few hours in New Paris, Ohio, come on down and check out our new splash pad!

What type of splash pad activities are there?

Our new splash pad is located right next to both the pool and our lakeside beach for easy play access. There are multiple tall sprayers to run under, as well as water fountains that spray from the ground. Buckets that drop when filled make a fun timing game, and the “busted fire hydrant” adds a touch of whimsy. There are multiple benches and picnic tables located by the splash pad for families to supervise their children.

When is the splash pad open?

The pool is available from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for registered campers and the splash pad is turned on from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for campers and day pass guests. Please also note that parental supervision is required for children under the age of 16 and there is no lifeguard on duty at either the pool or splash pad. Please be sure to use the foot rinse station before entering, especially if you are coming from the beach (see all splash pad rules here).

How do I obtain a day pass for the splash pad?

Natural Springs Resort issues day passes to the general public Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weather permitting). No public day passes are issued on Friday-Sunday or on holidays including Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. Day passes cost $7 for children 10 and under, $8 for ages 11-64 and $7 for seniors 65+. Children 3 and under are free. Seasonal swimming passes are also available upon request.

Where else can I splash around at Natural Springs?

Campers and day pass guests can also swim in our heated pool or the Natural Springs 12-acre spring-fed lake. Our crystal-clear lake also holds the Wibit floating obstacle course, where visitors aged 7 and older can swim, dive, jump, bounce and climb! Access to the Wibit costs $8 per hour and includes your lifejacket rental, which must be worn during Wibit play. And don’t forget about catch and release fishing, watercraft rentals and scuba diving in the lake as well!
