Natural Springs Resort in New Paris, Ohio will open for the 2022 camping season on Friday, April 15. We can’t wait to see all of our favorite annual campers and we look forward to meeting some new faces too. New in the 2022 camping season
One of our campers’ favorite booking sites for the past several years has been the rental RV. Due to popular demand, we have now added a second RV camper available to rent for your stay! Our rental RVs house can house six people, with one private bedroom, three beds and one bath with water hookup.
We have also added two new prime RV campsites for booking in the 2022 camping season. Our campsites for personal RVs include fire rings, picnic tables, 30/50 amp hookups, and options for both pull-through or back-in, waterfront, interior, shaded or open locations, and paved and non-paved sites. We’re also excited to welcome you onto the campgrounds with a brand new sign at the front of our property!
Much-requested returning features
Out of an abundance of caution for the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020 and 2021 seasons looked a little different from previous years. As we continue to follow safety regulations, we are excited to announce that we have reinstalled our much-requested fishing benches and swings for the 2022 camping season! We are also bringing back themed holiday weekends and special events, including our family favorite Halloween weekends coming this fall on Sept. 30-Oct. 2, and Oct. 7-9, 14-16, and 21-23!
All your favorite amenities
In addition to our new campsites and returning amenities, you can also enjoy the incredible activities and annual fun that Natural Springs has come to be known for. Early in the season, you can rent one of our non-motorized paddleboats, canoes or kayaks for hours of entertainment on the water. We also restocked our catch and release fishing this past fall, which you can enjoy from a watercraft, on the shore or from our fishing benches.
Our heated pool will reopen on Memorial Day weekend, and your family will also love playing on our beautiful sandy beach or in the “Wibit” floating waterpark. With our crystal clear lake on the site of a former limestone quarry, you can even take the swimming one step (or stroke) further and go snorkeling or scuba diving! Let us connect you with your scuba diving certifications from the local Southern Ohio Diving Academy and we can provide you with an air fill right on site.
Cooking up the 2022 camping season
Cooking has become a more popular hobby with all the time we’ve spent at home, and that doesn’t have to change while you’re camping! At Natural Springs, every single one of our campsites, from tents to cabins to RVs provides guests with a campfire ring not just for entertainment but for cooking over the fire. Our mini cabins also include a mini-refrigerator and microwave, and our loft cabins have a full-size stove and refrigerator.
Looking for a full kitchen? Check out our premium and premium+ cabins, with a full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, full-size range, small appliances, pots and pans, bakeware, utensils, dishware, and silverware, PLUS a Weber gas grill! And if you’re not up to cooking after a long day on the lake, you can also enjoy our Camp Store and Cafe for our famous pizza, tenderloin, burgers and more — plus our signature Hershey’s ice cream and slushies for dessert!
